About the Author
I’m Ellie Marsh, the writer behind Low Light Leaf. For years I lived in a north-facing apartment where most “easy” plants slowly gave up, so I learned which ones actually cope with dim rooms, and what to do when they don’t.
These days I garden in a small, mostly shaded backyard and share my home with a cat named Miso, which is why I check plants against the ASPCA toxicity list before recommending them. For the darkest corners, I use grow lights.
I’m not a horticulturist. Every guide is checked against university extension services, botanical gardens and other expert sources, and I update guides when better information comes along.
